Life update

Hello my loyal readers!

I know it's been awhile since I've posted a blog. Life has a way to getting complicated and time runs short. But needless to say, I'M BACK! :) So as a celebration of being back I figured I'd give you guys an update on how life has been lately.

My best friend of over a decade moved to the Big Apple. That was a huge change in both our lives. Having her so far sucks because we can't meet up the occasion coffee date, but thank God for FaceTime. We at least get to see each other as often as we want. I miss her but this is something she needed to do for herself.

My sister's cake shop has finally opened! After a year of issues with permitting, and construction, it has finally become a reality. We are beyond proud of her for all her hard work. It was 9 years in the making and it was worth the blood, sweat and tears. As a family we are all chipping in to help make it the success we all know it will be.

As for my life, things are moving along. Can't complain too much about anything. Life has a funny way of working itself out. Just when you think things cant be complicated, they turn around and become wonderful.
