Today month 1 of 2016 is almost over and so far it has been pretty good. Having had a long weekend of some well deserved R&R its time to kick things into high gear and start the new year off right. If you've read my previous post, I've decided to take all of the sadness from 2015 and turn it into joy this year.
There's no set way on how I will achieve this, though I'm confident that I will. Joy is what has been lacking lately in most of the our lives and at least for me, I plan to make sure it sticks around. This year I start the business venture of starting my own Property Management Company. I'm a bit nervous though also very excited. Things have started to line up, business phone set, email, working on the website design and all the other aspects needed. Another business venture I'm also expanding is my sister's cake shop. Although there have been a few bumps in the road but we are hopeful things will pick up and we can have our grand opening soon.
Another venture that I'm going to continue from 2015 that is unfinished business for me, is to continue writing and/or the finishing of my first novel. After beginning it several years ago and getting very far ahead last year, this year I"m going to dedicate as much free time as I can to finishing my novel.
My next goal for 2016 is to complete the yearly Goodreads.com Reading Challenge. Having done it for the first time last year, it felt like a great accomplishment to, not only finish my initial goal of 20 books for they year but also to surpass my set goal by reading a total of 45 books. This year I've set the same original goal of 20 book for the year and have so far read 8.
2016 is the year I've decided to make the best one yet. Filled with love, joy, success, and most of all, all the happiness in the world.
